Lady GaGa VMA Performance: Disturbing or Genius?

Did you see the oh so scandalous VMAs 2009? If not, go to mtv.com and watch them you don’t want to miss anything like that, seriously.
Where there’s scandal there is, exactly, Lady GaGa and she performed her new song Paparazzi.
GaGa took things to the extreme by simulating a self-hanging scenario, complete with fake facial blood.
Now the question goes out to you: was the Lady GaGa performance disturbing and tasteless or just genius?
